Can This Love Be Translated? Ep. 4: Go Youn-jung (Do-ra-mi) DEWEDEWE 22FW Waist Open Dress (White)

There’s a scene where Hiro (Fukushi Sota) ruins the mood by saying, “I can’t film because of my contact lenses,”
but then casually wanders around outside—making Cha Mu-hee (Go Youn-jung) furious.
That’s the moment when Do-ra-mi’s personality pops out and says, “At least throw a stone,” and this DEWEDEWE 22FW dress appears in that scene.

She also wears this dress when Do-ra-mi first starts talking in the elevator in Episode 3.
Later, Do-ra-mi shows up in the hotel room wearing the same dress and “shoots” Ho-jin (Kim Seon-ho) and Mu-hee on TV—so it’s safe to say Do-ra-mi really loves this one.

Custom points in the drama version

It’s the same base piece, but the version shown in the drama has three noticeable differences.

1. The waist cut-out is filled in

The original design has an open waist cut-out (as the name suggests), but in the drama it looks reinforced/covered with fabric.

2. Black lace contrast added at the sleeves, shoulders, and hem

The drama version is white lace overall, but the black lace works like an accent, creating stronger contrast.
On screen, the silhouette looks sharper, and the character vibe feels even more defined.

3. Added embroidered bib-like layered detail

The extra embroidered bib/bave detail around the chest looks like the key styling point for the drama version.
It adds a playful-but-edgy tone on top of a classic lace dress.
